Lasers have been used across a broad range of treatments for decades, and this technology is continually evolving. At Bramis, we have several available to treat many different skin concerns. Fraxel – only available at Subiaco

Fraxel is a non-invasive laser therapy providing a wide array of treatment options to address many forms of aging. The Pixel or Fractional Laser treatment utilises the resurfacing properties of fractional photothermolysis to stimulate new collagen growth and restore youthful, healthy looking skin.

Treatment that is accessible to medical clinics only performed by our Nurses. A week of Mild to moderate downtime depending on condition of the skin. All skin must be prepped prior to any Fraxel treatments and strict aftercare must be followed.

Post procedure healing kits are recommended and available for a reduced price.

Fraxel Laser is effective for:

Before your treatment:

The skin must be prepped with the correct skin care products. Our dermal therapists and nurses can assist you with what is required.
You should stop any active products one week out from your appointment.
You can’t have the treatment if you have any active infections, wounds or lesions.

During your treatment:

Be sure to attend your appointment makeup free.
Your skin will be cleansed and we’ll take photos of your skin prior to treatment.
For maximum comfort, your skin is numbed using a topical cream.
The treatment itself takes 15-30 minutes, however we allow about an hour for the whole process.

After your treatment:

You will feel hot, as if you’ve had severe sunburn.
We’ll recommend aftercare products which are safe to use for maximum recovery.
Ice packs will help soothe the burning sensation.
You must wear an SPF 50+ broadband sunscreen every day.
Your skin will be red and flaky, and may swell.
The full range of risks and reactions will be explained prior to treatment, but some of these symptoms can last 10 days.

The results from your Fraxel treatment are immediate and continue to improve over time. After the initial post-treatment symptoms subside, you will see a rejuvenated overall appearance. During the next few months, as your collagen regenerates, you will see further improvements.

Most patients require one treatment to see results. For maintenance, one treatment annually is recommended.

Clear and Brilliant – only available at Inglewood

Clear and Brilliant utilises the anti-ageing properties of Fraxel laser technology to counteract ageing and sun damage and is commonly known as the “baby Fraxel”. Much like Fraxel, Clear and Brilliant uses gentle laser energy to create millions of microscopic treatment zones. These treatment zones serve to stimulate the production of new skin tissue, thereby replacing areas of damaged and aged skin.

Excel V by Cutera is a safe and efficient laser that treats:

The Excel V treatment can be performed as a stand alone or combined with Laser Genesis (further details below).

Photo Rejuvenation – only available at Inglewood and Currambine

Intense pulse light treatments are used for many different skin treatments, including rejuvenation. At Bramis, we offer a non-ablative, medical grade IPL using our Cutera XEO and Venus versa machines.

IPL therapy targets the pigmentation within the skin to reduce the appearance of pigmentation and rejuvenate the skin, restoring a youthful glow. IPL stimulates new collagen to form in the skin thereby reducing fine lines, minimising pore size, and increasing skin elasticity. Intense pulsed light also diminishes flushing or redness of the face.
