Excel V by Cutera is a safe and efficient laser that treats:

The Excel V treatment can be performed as a stand alone or combined with Laser Genesis (further details below).

A consultation must be completed prior to treatment to ensure this treatment is right for you. Our dermal therapists and nurses may also require you to have a skin check prior to removal of any pigmented lesions.

Laser Genesis – only available at Subiaco

Laser Genesis is a safe and efficient laser that heats the tissue of the skin to stimulate new cell renewal and collagen, leaving you with a natural, youthful look and feel.

Laser genesis is effective for:

Enlarged pores
Ageing skin
Rosacea and diffused redness
Fine lines and wrinkles

Before your treatment:

The skin must be prepped with the correct skin care products. Our dermal therapists and nurses can assist you with what is required.
You should stop any active products one week out from your appointment.
You can’t have the treatment if you have any active infections, wounds or lesions.

During your treatment:

Be sure to attend your appointment makeup free.
Your skin will be cleansed and we’ll take photos of your skin prior to treatment.
You might feel some warmth and slight tingling, but the treatment is relatively pain free and does not require any prior numbing.
The treatment itself takes 15-30 minutes, however we allow about an hour for the whole process.
You may experience some warmth and slight tingling.

After your treatment:

Your skin might flake and peel slightly.
You may experience some redness and a erythema.
We’ll recommend aftercare products which are safe to use for maximum recovery.
You must wear an SPF 50+ broadband sunscreen every day.
The full range of risks and reactions will be explained prior to treatment, but some of these symptoms can last 10 days.

The results from your Laser Genesis treatment are immediate and continue to improve over time. After the initial post-treatment symptoms subside, you will see a rejuvenated overall appearance. During the next few months, as your collagen regenerates, you will see further improvements.

Most patients require 4-6 treatments spaced 2-4 weeks apart for best results.
